Sierra Send is a Christian non-profit organization created to serve the indigenous Tarahumara people of northern Mexico. The Tarahumara are a community of approximately 100,000 people who are virtually unreached by the Gospel. The mission of Sierra Send is to empower, train, and equip the indigenous Tarahumara people to plant, grow, and lead their own churches.

In a rocky canyon landscape, God is causing His word to grow and bear fruit! Over the past 20 years, Sierra Send has been involved in:

• Developing and distributing audio, video and printed Bible materials in the Tarahumara language.
• Sharing MP3 players with recordings of the Bible in the native language. To date, over 15,000 players have been distributed by native believers to people in over 400 villages!
• Facilitating support ministries including a mobile medical clinic, food distribution program and literacy classes.
• Training Tarahumara leaders to lead their own congregations and launch new churches.
• Providing a gathering center where Tarahumara people could come from all over the mountains to worship, share and learn together.
